Rates
Two fees, both taken out of what your cards actually sell for. Nothing up front, nothing per listing, no minimum consignment.
Our commission
The bigger the card, the smaller our cut. Each card is banded by what that card sold for — not by your box total, so a pile of cheap cards adding up to $100 doesn't earn the lower rate, and one big card in a cheap box does.

The order it comes out
- 1. The card sells. That price is the hammer.
- 2. Whatnot takes 8% commission and 2.9% payment processing, plus $0.30 for each separate lot or single sold — all before the money ever reaches us.
- 3. We take our commission — 9% under $100, 7% from $100, 5% from $500 — worked out on each sale separately, plus $1.00 for each card.
- 4. Everything left is yours.

Cards that don't get listed on their own
Anything worth under about $10.00, and anything that arrives damaged, gets grouped into $1 lot boxes and sold that way. Same fees. Nothing is shipped back, so don't send a card you want to keep.
If the rates change
Your payout is calculated at the rates in force when your cards sold, and those rates are recorded on the payout itself. Changing a rate never reaches backwards into a payout that already happened.
Very cheap cards can return you nothing
The fixed fees don't shrink with the sale. Between Whatnot's $0.30 per sale and our $1.00 per card, a single card has to hammer at about $1.63 before there is anything left for you. Grouping cheap cards into lots is what keeps that from biting — a ten-card lot pays Whatnot's $0.30 once instead of ten times.
If Whatnot changes its fees
Those rates are theirs and they can move them. The figures above are what we currently see them take on our own sales; check their published schedule if you want to be certain.
