Questions

FAQ

What do you take?+
Soccer cards — modern chrome and prizm, Premier League and World Cup product, MLS, vintage, graded slabs. If you have a mixed box with a bit of everything, send it; we sort it here.
Is there a minimum?+
No. There's no minimum consignment and no minimum card value to send. Cards worth under about $10.00 just get grouped into $1 lot boxes rather than listed individually.
What does it cost me?+
$1.00 a card, plus a commission that depends on what each card sells for — 9% under $100, 7% from $100, 5% from $500. Every card is banded on its own price, not on your box total. Taken out of what the cards make. Whatnot takes 8% commission, 2.9% processing and $0.30 per sale first. Nothing up front. Full breakdown on the rates page.
How are my cards actually listed?+
By default every card runs as a sudden-death auction at 15 seconds — the clock does not reset when someone bids, so it runs straight down and the highest bid at zero takes the card. When you create a submission you can name specific cards to run as prebids (listed ahead of the show so bids come in early) or as regular auctions with no sudden death. Prebids have a floor: only cards worth $100 or more can be listed that way, and anything under that runs sudden death with the rest of your box. Write those out properly — player, year, set, parallel, numbering — because someone has to find them in your box by hand. Anything we can't identify with confidence runs sudden death with the rest.
Do my cards really open at $1?+
Yes, every one, with no reserve. That's the format and it's what gets the room bidding. It also means a card can sell for less than you hoped — that risk is the deal, and you should be comfortable with it before you ship.
When do I get paid, and how?+
Within 7 business days of the show your cards ran in, by the method you picked on your submission. We pay by Zelle, Venmo, bank wire or check. A wire costs $25.00 and that comes out of your payout — the other three are free. Payment depends on Whatnot settling the sale.
What if my package gets lost on the way to you?+
Until it reaches us and we count it in, the package is at your risk — we're not the carrier and we can't pay for cards we never received. Use a tracked service and insure it. If something goes wrong we'll give you everything we have to support your claim with the carrier. Once it's in our hands, it's on us.
Can I get cards back if I change my mind?+
Before you ship, yes — cancel the submission from your account, no cost. Once the box has arrived and been counted in, the cards are committed to a show. We don't ship cards back, so don't send anything you want to keep.
How do I know your count is right?+
Every package is opened and counted on camera. If our count doesn't match what you sent, tell us within 7 days and we'll go back to the recording.
Can I see the video of my box being opened?+
Ask and we'll send it. Email consign@ronniebreaks.com with your submission ID. The recordings are kept separately — they're never published and you can't watch them from your account — and we only hold each one for 90 days before deleting it, so don't leave it too long.
How do I ship them?+
Put your submission ID on a slip inside the box, pack the cards so they survive the trip, and send to: Ronnie Breaks LLC340 East 34th Street, Apt 12LNew York, NY 10016
What if you find a fake?+
We won't sell it. We'll contact you, and depending on the item we'll hold it, return it, or surrender it — see the terms for the detail.
Are you affiliated with Whatnot?+
No. We're an independent consignment seller who runs shows on their platform. Their fee is theirs and their rules are theirs.

Still stuck?

Email consign@ronniebreaks.com and ask. Better to ask before you post a box than after.
