This explains what Ronnie Breaks LLC collects when you use ronniebreaks.com, why we collect it, and what we do with it. We run a small consignment business, not an advertising business — we collect what we need to sell your cards and pay you, and nothing beyond that.
1.What we collect
From Google, when you sign in. Your name, email address and profile picture. That is the whole of it. We use Google sign-in specifically so that we never handle a password of yours, and we never see one.
From you, when you consign. What you tell us about a submission — how many cards, what kind, what you think it is worth, any note you add — plus the carrier and tracking number you enter, and the payout method you want us to use.
From running the business. The count we record when your box arrives, which show your cards ran in, what they sold for, and the fee breakdown and payout that followed.
Video of your package being opened. We record openings on camera so that a disagreement about a count can be settled by looking rather than arguing. These recordings are never published or posted. They are stored separately from your account and you cannot watch them from it — but you can ask us for the recording of your own package by emailing consign@ronniebreaks.com, and we will send it to you. We keep every opening for 90 days and then delete it, so ask inside that window.
2.What we do not collect
No passwords. No card or bank numbers — we do not take payments from you, so we never ask. No advertising trackers, no analytics profiling, no selling your information to anyone, ever.
3.Why we hold it
To identify you when you sign in; to track your cards from your hands to a show to a payout; to work out what you are owed and pay it; to answer your questions; and to keep the records a business is required to keep.
4.Who else sees it
We use a small number of services to run the site. Each sees only what it needs:
- Google — sign-in only. Google tells us your name, email and picture; we tell Google nothing about your consignments.
- Supabase — the database and login system behind this site. Your account and submission records live there.
- Netlify — serves this website.
- Whatnot — where your cards are actually sold. Buyers see the cards; they do not see your name or your account with us.
- Whoever we send your payout through — they need enough to deliver the money to you.
We will also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights or someone's safety. Otherwise, no.
5.Cookies
One kind only: the cookie that keeps you signed in. It is necessary for the site to work at all, it is not used to follow you anywhere, and there are no advertising or third-party tracking cookies on this site. That is why you are not being asked to accept a cookie banner.
6.How long we keep it
Account and submission records: for as long as you have an account, and afterwards for as long as we need them for tax, accounting and dispute purposes — generally seven years.
Opening recordings: about 90 days, unless a specific dispute means we need to keep one longer.
7.Your choices
Email consign@ronniebreaks.com and you can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct anything wrong, or delete your account and personal information. We will do it within 30 days.
Two honest limits: we cannot delete records we are required to keep for tax and accounting, and we cannot delete a record of a sale that has already happened. Depending on where you live, you may have additional legal rights — tell us and we will honour them.
8.Children
This service is for adults. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has given us information, email us and we will remove it.
9.Security
Sign-in runs through Google, so there is no password of yours for us to lose. The site is served over HTTPS, and the database enforces, row by row, that you can only ever read your own submissions and payouts. No system is perfect, and we will tell you promptly if something happens that affects your information.
10.Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of the page. If the change is significant, we will tell you by email.
