Consignment Terms
Last updated September 7, 2026
These terms are the agreement between you (the consignor) and Ronnie Breaks LLC (“we”, “us”), a New York limited liability company, when you send us trading cards to be sold on our live Whatnot shows. Creating a submission means you accept them.
1.Who can consign
You must be at least 18 years old. You must own the cards outright, or have the owner's permission to sell them, and they must be free of any lien, claim or dispute. You are responsible for any tax you owe on what you earn; we do not withhold tax and we do not give tax advice.
2.How a consignment works
You create a submission in your account and get a submission ID. You ship the cards to us with that ID inside the box, at the address shown in your account:
Ronnie Breaks LLC340 East 34th Street, Apt 12LNew York, NY 10016
When the box arrives we open and count it on camera, record the count against your submission, and slot the cards into an upcoming show. You can follow all of this from your account.
3.Shipping to us — risk of loss is yours
Until your package physically reaches us and we have counted it in, it is at your risk. We are not responsible for packages that are lost, stolen, delayed, damaged or misdelivered in transit to us, and we cannot pay you for cards we never received.
We are not the carrier and we have no control over what happens to a box between your hands and ours. Please use a tracked service, pack the cards so they survive the trip, and insure the package for what it is worth. If a package is lost or damaged in transit, the claim is between you and the carrier — we will give you whatever tracking and delivery information we have to support your claim.
Once the box is in our hands and counted, responsibility for the cards passes to us until they are sold or, where applicable, returned.
4.Cards we are already holding
If you won cards on one of our streams and we still have them, you can consign them straight back onto a future show instead of us shipping them to you and you shipping them back. Choose “cards you already have” on a submission and list which ones you mean.
You have to tell us before we ship. Once a package has gone out, it has gone out — we cannot recall it, and consigning those cards then means shipping them back to us at your own cost and risk.
We will match your list against what we are actually holding and come back to you if anything does not line up. Cards held this way are treated exactly like cards that arrived in the post, at the same rates, from the day you submit them.
5.Our count is the count
Every package is opened and counted on camera. The count we record is what we will sell and what we will pay you for. We keep those recordings so we can resolve disagreements. They are never published, but you can request the recording of your own package by emailing consign@ronniebreaks.com. We hold every opening for 90 days and then delete it.
If you think our count is wrong, tell us within 7 days of the count appearing in your account, at consign@ronniebreaks.com, and we will check the recording.
6.Everything opens at $1 — there is no reserve
Every card is listed with no reserve and no minimum. Bidding opens at $1 and the card sells to the highest bidder, whatever that price turns out to be. A card can and sometimes will sell for far less than you hoped, or than it is “worth”.
You are agreeing to that risk when you consign. We decide how cards are grouped into lots, the order they run in, and which show they run in. We may hold a card back for a later show if we think it will do better there.
7.Low-value, damaged and unsellable cards
Cards worth less than about $10.00, and cards that arrive damaged, are grouped together and sold as $1 lot boxes rather than listed individually. Those lots sell under the same fee terms as everything else.
We do not ship cards back. Anything you send us is going to be sold, either on its own or as part of a lot. Do not send a card you want to keep.
The exception is cards we may not lawfully sell — see section 7.
8.Authenticity and things we cannot sell
You warrant that everything you send is genuine, and that any grading slab is the real, unaltered slab issued by the grader for the card inside it.
If we believe an item is counterfeit, altered, stolen, or otherwise unlawful to sell, we will not sell it. We will contact you and, depending on the item and what the law requires, hold it, return it at your expense, surrender it to the grader or to law enforcement, or destroy it. You agree to cover any loss, claim or cost we incur because something you sent us was not what you said it was.
9.Fees and what you are paid
Money from a sale is divided in this order:
- Whatnot takes its own fees before any money reaches us — currently 8% commission, 2.9% payment processing, and $0.30 for each separate lot or single sold. Those fees are Whatnot's, not ours, and Whatnot can change them.
- We take a commission of the hammer price, banded by what that card sold for and worked out on each sale separately, never on your box total: 9% under $100, 7% from $100, 5% from $500.
- We take a flat $1.00 per card counted in, once each.
- The rest is yours.
Your account shows every line of this itemised once your cards sell. We may change our rates, but a change never applies backwards: the rates in force when your cards sell are the rates you are paid at, and those rates are recorded on your payout so you can check them later.
10.Getting paid
We pay you within 7 business days of the show your cards sold in, using the payout method on your submission. We pay by Zelle, Venmo, bank wire or check; a bank wire carries a $25.00 fee that is deducted from your payout, and the other methods carry no fee. Keep your details accurate — we are not responsible for money sent to a stale account you gave us.
Payment depends on Whatnot settling the sale. If a buyer does not pay, charges back, or a sale is reversed or refunded after we have paid you, the amount we advanced for that card is owed back to us and we may deduct it from your next payout.
11.Cancelling
You can cancel a submission any time before you ship, from your account, at no cost. Once your cards have arrived and been counted in, they are committed to a show and cannot be withdrawn.
We may decline or return a submission at our discretion — for example if it arrives without a submission ID we can match, or is not what the submission described.
12.Our responsibility, and its limits
We will take reasonable care of your cards while they are with us. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for fraud.
Beyond that: our total liability to you for any submission is capped at the net amount you would have received for the cards in that submission, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss — including a card's speculative or sentimental value, or what you believe it might have sold for elsewhere.
13.Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version in force when you create a submission is the one that governs that submission, so a later change does not alter a consignment already underway.
14.Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, and any dispute goes to the state or federal courts sitting in New York County, New York.
